Mommy Daughter Greenhouse Session

I wanted to share our recent greenhouse session! I am so in love with these sessions. I have a couple family mini’s for my business lined up at a greenhouse next month so I thought, why don’t I knock out a couple birds with one stone and get some fun family and head shots while giving my clients a preview? (If you’re wondering, Matthew was in school at this time, and Brandon was at work.) And again, if you know me, I don’t wait long to pounce on ideas. So this whole session was very last minute and my sister was so kind to come and be our photographer for the afternoon!

So before the session, I decided to have a little fun. I did my make up, went to Target and bought some fake eyelashes and even wore my hair extensions (that I like never wear)!!  Side note, I totally get why make up artists are hired. Because I’m a last minute person, I was doing my false lashes in the parking lot, and after a few minutes of my struggling, my sister started busting out laughing. Apparently I was putting them on upside down. But okay, I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s done that (?).

Anyway, after we tore a fake eyelash in half, trimmed it while on my face, and ran through the freezing wind to get to the greenhouse, it couldn’t have gone better. I told my husband that this was the prettiest I had felt in a long time. He rolled his eyes psshh. But seriously, it was so much fun. I am so grateful that Manda did this for us! She captured just what I was wanting and more.
