For as long as I can remember my passion has been music. When I was little, Martina McBride and Whitney Houston were constantly playing in my CD player. I could listen and belt to their songs for hours. And now, the rhythm of any music will get me tapping on anything nearby or send my fingers playing fake piano keys (I don’t even play the piano). Music is the most powerful tool I know. Along with music, I loved to write. I would make up crazy stories and wrote a few (very dramatic and poor) songs.
So Youtube came out in 2005. It was a couple years later that I started toying around with the idea of recording my own songs on there. If anyone could do it why can’t I? I severely lacked confidence is why. But after 10 years of singing on the worship team off and on, I think I finally hit a point where I said to myself,
You’ve put this off for way to long. This is what you want to do so just do it. Who cares what anyone thinks.
So that is what I am doing. I am no good at the guitar but finding someone to accompany me is harder than you think so it is what it is! My goal is to do some covers first and then eventually start taking the time to write music again. This is where my heart is at, and I would love to impact even one person with positive music if I can. Thanks for taking the time to read this and listen if you have!
